Maybe you’ve always loved creating. Or maybe you’ve looked at something beautiful and thought, I wish I knew how to do that.

Bright Brush Academy was created for exactly that.

It started with me teaching graphic design back in 2004. Over the years, I taught thousands of women and girls, and I kept seeing the same thing happen.

A student would come in nervous, convinced she wasn’t creative enough or that the programs were going to be too complicated.

Then, little by little, she’d get it.

She’d create something she was proud of, look at it and say, “Wait. I actually did that.”

That feeling never gets old.

And it taught me something: with the right teacher, clear instruction and a little encouragement, people are capable of so much more creatively than they realize.

Eventually I started thinking, Why should that stop with graphics?

So I began looking for talented women in our community who love what they do and, just as importantly, love teaching it.

Not simply great photographers, musicians and creatives, but instructors who know how to break things down, encourage a student and make learning feel doable.

That’s how Bright Brush Academy grew.

Today, we offer courses in graphics, photography, music and more, created especially for Jewish women and girls in an environment that feels comfortable, appropriate and true to our values.

Whether you’re looking for a creative outlet, a skill you can use at home or in your community, or something you may one day turn into a profession, there’s room here for you to explore.

Because sometimes all it takes is the right teacher, the right opportunity and someone showing you where to begin.
